Conference Venue: Hotel Le Plaza, Brussels, Belgium

The 6th International Meeting on the Chemistry of Graphene and Carbon Nanotubes will be held at Hotel Le Plaza in the city centre of Brussels.

Transport


The nearest airport is Brussels Airport, but due to recent events, a number of flights are rerouted to regional airports around Brussels. Nonetheless, a few flights are now flying to Brussels Airport, and more information can be found on the website of Brussels Airport. By airplane to and from Brussels Airport.

To travel to and from Brussels Airport, you can choose to either travel by train or by taxi. Depending on the arrival or departure time, there are up to four trains an hour between the airport and 'Brussel Noord' train station in less than 15 minutes.

The train station and the Hotel are within walking distance, which takes approximately ten minutes, or travel by subway between the subway station 'Rogier' (exit Adolphe Max) and the train station, which is only one stop away.

A special arrangement has been made with Taxis Bleus for transfer between the airport and the Hotel. Upon arrival, please call Taxis Bleus at +32.(0)2 264 98 06, and mention it concerns the ChemOnTubes2016 conference. You can call directly before picking up your luggage, so the driver will be waiting upon your arrival. You can arrange the meeting point when you call. For departure the driver will pick you up at the Hotel entrance.

Clearly mention to the driver before departure that it concerns the ChemOnTubes2016 conference and that there is a fixed transfer rate to and from the Hotel of 35 EUR.


By train to and from Brussels South station ('Station Brussel Zuid' in dutch or 'Gare Bruxelles Midi' in french)

The hotel is easily reachable by public transport. The Hotel is located next to the subway station 'Rogier', exit Adolphe Max. More information on public transport in Brussels can be found at : http://www.stib.be/index.htm?l=en

If you choose to travel by taxi, you can also call Taxis Bleus at +32.(0)2 264 98 06, and they will transfer you to and from the Hotel. Please note that here regular rates apply for the taxi transfer, but it should cost around 10-15 EUR, depending on trafic. Please also arrange the pick-up point when you call the taxi company.
